The African Health information and service programs

YAPO acknowledges that effective use of information is the foundation of modern public health practice. If information is well delivered, it stimulates quick public health responses—such as outbreak investigations, prevention strategies for diseases and adoption of healthy practices that prevent common diseases in the community.

YAPO therefore provides health education and awareness programs in schools and communities about amongst others the dangers and associated risky behaviors of alcohol, drugs, and all substance abuse. We also cover sex Education including reproductive health information and services targeting the wider community of youth both in and out of schools.
