“Youth Lead the Change program” is YAPO’s leadership development program that was started to enable the youth take their right position in effecting the change they desire in their communities.

YAPO believes that the youth are the leaders of today. The belief is rooted in giving the youth an opportunity to develop and gain experience in leading is a great way to hone their talent and set them up for a bright future. It gives them much needed confidence and trains them for collaborative working. It helps them understand what to do, when to do and how to do. Youth leaders are nurtured to handle the role of leadership in total confidence.

We believe that the youth of today will be responsible for shaping the future of our nation. So it is only logical that the youth must be shaped to take on the mantle. Youth Leadership, as the custodians of tomorrow, are only the hope for the future when they only understand that effective leadership is about transition from the generation of an idea to its successful execution. You only understand this through practice.
